BRIDESMAID POV: ASHLEY'S WEDDING

I don't find myself at weddings often without a camera in-hand. But even when I was asked to be a bridemaid in a near and dear friend of mine's wedding last November, I knew I needed to bring my camera and try to grab a few memories to savor later in between bridesmaid duties. It was an honor to stand next to Ashley on her big day, and I am so happy to share these happy moments with her family and everyone else.

JUSTIN + BETH ENGAGEMENT

These two are honestly just the nicest. I met Justin a few years ago while working at Precision Camera. When he asked me to shoot his wedding, I was incredibly humbled and honored for the opportunity. The big day is right around the corner, but in the meantime we took some portraits of him and his beautiful bride-to-be, Beth, and his son. <3

MOTHER FALCON "THANK Y'ALL SHOW" AT MOHAWK

When Tamir hit me up to shoot what would be one of the last Mother Falcon shows for a while, I was absolutely honored. They always put on such an amazing show. I wish the best of luck to the members who are spreading their wings and adventuring to new things! Thanks for having me out to capture such a special performance.

TRANSIT METHOD AT FREE WEEK

The Austin band Transit Method asked me to come out and make some photos during their Free Week set a few weeks ago. Thanks for having me out, boys!

DYLANA + DANIEL WEDDING

I am always honored when asked to shoot weddings. It means so much to be trusted to photograph what is potentially the most important day in someone's life. Thank you Dylana and Daniel for trusting me to capture your big day <3

DAY FOR NIGHT 2016

I am a little late to share these, but I can't deny that this was probably the coolest festival I have ever been a part of. Shout out to the amazing photo team and amazing festival team in general for putting on such a magical event!

THE OCTOPUS PROJECT FOR URBAN OUTFITTERS

To be perfectly honest, I could hardly contain my excitement when Urban Outfitters asked me to photograph a band I have been a fan of for nearly a decade. I remember going to their shows in highschool with a point & shoot camera, shooting their shows, and realizing then how much I loved photographing music. The coolest part of all? They were the NICEST PEOPLE EVER. Seriously, such sweethearts and so fun and easy going. Can't wait to cross paths with them again!

ASHLEY'S BRIDALS

Bridal portraits are so fun, yet frustrating-- always such a pleasure to shoot, but it takes so much discipline to keep them hidden until after the big day! My dear best friend just married the love of her life, and I insisted that we do bridal portraits before the wedding. Now that the big day has passed, I can finally share these photos with the world <3 Love you Ash! May you and JJ's future be bright and beautiful.

PIZZERIA VETRI / URBAN OUTFITTERS

Pizzeria Vetri asked me to make some photos of their DELICIOUS PIZZA. I've never seen anything like it. I can't wait to go back in a non-working capacity and chow down on all of their magical pies. Thanks for the opportunity Vetri and Urban Outfitters team! See ya next time :)

MY CHILDREN (MY PLANTS)

Over the last year, I have started bringing more plants inside. I realized how spoiled I was with this beautifully lit corner of windows, and decided to bring a little bit of the outdoors in! So far, I have a baby banana, a few ponytail palms, some spiders, a brand new bella palm, basil, and a beautiful money tree!

The best part about all of these, is that they are totally cat safe! The last thing I would ever want is to bring in a beautiful plant only to find my cat sick from getting into it. The ASPCA has a very comprehensive database of plants that are toxic and non-toxic to cats.

I also have started attempting keeping a terrarium! So far, I have one that has been thriving since early September, and I have another in the process of being made! I love terrariums because they are little, self-sustaining worlds :)

AUSTIN CITY LIMITS, WEEKEND 2

Another ACL for the books. Thanks to Do512.com for having me out! Can't wait for next year!
