The inspiration always flows a bit more freely when you are using a camera you love, photographing an individual you have been friends with for years and years. I have known Maddie since college, and to be able to watch her blossom into the talented singer-songwriter she has become has been beautiful to watch. I used the Fuji 645ZI for this shoot because I wanted to achieve a more raw look, especially utilizing the fill flash the camera executes oh-so beautifully. I think the outcome matches the style Maddie tries to achieve in her songs, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Maddie's new EP drops later this month, don't miss it!
